Thanks to the Government of Bhopal for the well-maintained and preserved Van Vihar National Park. Being located in the heart of Bhopal, it has everything that a nature lover will find interesting. Even though it is named as Van Vihar National Park Bhopal, it has developed as a modern Zoological Park, which follows the guidelines of the central zoo authority. Home to the unique animals and exclusive flora and fauna, the place attracts a large number of tourists every day.
The wide variety of species is given full care by the authorities. The most appealing point for me was the comfortable surroundings, which the animals were in. It helped them feel as they were located in their own respective habitats. The zoo authorities were very strict when it came to the matter of animal protection. No person except the authority was allowed in the core zone. I had to leave behind the water bottle and the eatable items, which were in plastic packets, as they were not allowed in the jungle. Eating of plastic products may lead to heart failures of the animals, especially tigers, so anything that does not pass the check of the board, should be either left behind or taken with you on the way back to your place.
The ecological place was well-maintained so that it provides a healthy place for breeding for the nurturing of the young ones. I looked around the forest and it was covered in the sheet of greenery. The pleasing calm sound of the birds and the deer cannot be compared to anything.
The Van Vihar National Park Bhopal portrays an epic beauty with immense serene landscape and enjoyable surroundings. My journey at this wildlife station was about to end and suddenly with the glance of tiger I was fully pleased with my journey. The sight of that elegant creature fulfilled my goal of visiting the national park. I was happy with the sight of tiger but also a bit sad because it was the end of my journey in the city of lakes. With memories and souvenirs, this place will always be remembered.
